The former Communist Party committee headquarters in Komló, now home to the unified museum collection and the library. During the refurbishment of the adult library, removing wall cladding that had covered an entire wall for several decades revealed this surprise: a fresco whose existence was known only from an archived newspaper, and which was presumed still to be there.

The monogram speaks for the space: this is a library that bears a name. The graphic lines are stylised renderings of mine timbering. They reappear as a decorative element in several places throughout the building, and the chevron pattern echoes them too.
